What is Feed & Read?
We understand that summers can sometimes present difficulties for families: your kids aren’t getting any meals at school, their reading levels tend to drop, and it can be hard to make the time and money to go out and do fun activities as a family. Well, help is on the way this summer, because Feed & Read is almost here!
This program will last for 4 weeks. During these 4 weeks, your family will get a meal 6 days a week, your kids will get personalized reading practice, we’ll play lots of fun games, and we’ll have fun events for the whole family throughout the program. Plus, each family who completes the program will be awarded a prize at the end. The best part? This is all totally free, no strings attached! So what are you waiting for? Sign up now!
Reading
Watch your children’s reading skills improve as they receive personalized help during our reading time.
Meals
Enjoy a meal for you and your family 6 days a week, Sunday to Friday.
Exciting Games
Have fun cheering for your children to win in our high-energy games.

Kids who have good attendance and complete the program will be awarded a prize at the end.

Want more info before committing to the Feed & Read program? Come to our Orientation!
Feed & Read Orientation will take place on Sunday, June 29th at 1:30 PM. A presentation will be given on the program, and there will be plenty of time for Q&A. The location will be at Fellowship Bible Church (8603 Huebner Rd San Antonio, TX 78240), and snacks will be provided. If you will be attending Orientation, email Amber Gallagher (our Kids’ and Youth Director) to let her know at amber@communionchapelefca.org.
